We are now just one game - shout out Detroit-Green Bay on Monday night - from completing two weeks of the NFL season, and it's officially time to start looking ahead to Week 3.
Lines have officially been dropped, and here they are via DraftKings Sportsbook:
Carolina (-7.5) at Houston - O/U 44
Chicago at Cleveland (-7.5) - O/U 47
Arizona (-7.5) at Jacksonville - O/U 52
New Orleans at New England (-3) - O/U 42.5
Indianapolis at Tennessee (-5) - O/U 50
Washington at Buffalo (-8.5) - O/U 46.5
Atlanta at New York Giants (-3.5) - O/U 48.5
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (-4.5) - O/U 45
New York Jets at Denver (-11) - O/U 41.5
Miami at Las Vegas (-5) - O/U 45.5
Tampa Bay at LA Rams (-1) - O/U 54.5
Seattle (-1) at Minnesota - O/U 55
Green Bay at San Francisco (-4) - O/U 48.5 * Sunday Night Game
Philadelphia at Dallas (-4) - O/U 51.5 * Monday Night Game
Obviously the big game, and certainly most intriguing is Tampa Bay traveling to LA to take on the Sean McVay's club at SoFi Stadium. Seeing LA as just a slight road favorite either means one of two things: That the oddsmakers really like Tampa (or at least believe you as bettors do) or they're not quite totally sold on the revamped, Matthew Stafford led offense in Los Angeles.
Seeing Seattle - even coming off that crushing loss to Tennessee - as just a one-point favorite in Minnesota is a bit surprising as well. Minnesota is 0-2, losing twice to teams that frankly aren't projected to be all that good (Cincinnati and Arizona). Admittedly, this might have to do with the fact that Mike Zimmer might be coaching for his job.
Finally, doesn't that Washington at Buffalo line feel a bit high? Yes, Washington barely held on against the Giants, but they easily could be 2-0 and will have three extra days to prepare for Josh Allen and Buffalo.
