What you missed yesterday: Controversial end in baseball, OU QB drama, Arkansas lands a big commit

It was a wild day in sports yesterday and we had two GREAT games late into the night.

First, the Dodgers advanced to the NLCS again - but it came on a controversial play. This is how the Giants season ended - and can't lie, that's a tough way to head home for the winter.

On a much lighter note, did you see that we got our first ever on-air jersey swap following the Thursday night game?

Let's start with the story that takes plenty of new twists - we talked about Jon Gruden earlier in the week. Now, did you see that the Washington Football decided, randomly, to retire Sean Taylor's jersey this weekend? I'm sure it's not to distract from the mess the organization is in - nope, not at all.

In the college game, Garrett Carr came through with a GREAT column on Thursday, asking the question everyone is asking in college football right now - the USC job is open. LSU is coming soon. But which job is better? The answer might surprise you.

Speaking of college football, Aaron made his Week 7 picks earlier this week.

Also, as we head to Week 7, Aaron wants to know: Kentucky is the best story in the sport right now. But could another school convince him to leave Lexington? And if so, which one?

In college hoops we got major news - as Arkansas picked up ANOTHER five-star, and Eric Musselman is quietly building a monster in Fayetteville.

Finally, we have a new Aaron Torres Podcast today, as Aaron discusses the QB controversy at Oklahoma, Stoops' future at Kentucky and previews Week 7 in college hoops. Plus some college hoops news and notes. You can click here or listen below.
