Alright, so here's the deal. You're probably looking at this site like "AT, what is this? You in a nice shirt and coat? What's going on here?"
Let me explain.
For years, I've been promising myself to set up a personal site. The bottom-line is that I've been doing media stuff for so long, and my presence continues to grow so much, that I wanted a place where people who come across me and my work for the first time to go, and learn more about me. Understand, there are literally people that have come across my work in the last couple months that have no idea that I wrote for FoxSports.com for years and was one of their most accomplished writers (sick brag, I know). Plenty of people know me as "the podcast guy" or the "radio guy" and have no idea that I was once (and still am) a writer, who has penned two books. Some people know me as a writer, that don't realize that I host a national radio show heard on 400 stations nationwide (again, sick brag, I know).
Point being, this site is designed for two things: One, to let people know who I am, and what I've done. TV, radio, print, books all in one place. I don't want anyone to ever again come across my work and think, "oh this guy is cool, but who is he? Does he actually know what he's talking about?" Well, I'm not sure if I do totally know what I'm talking about. But, well, at least you know.
Two, there's also a blog on the home page, where I will write my weekly college football picks (which are sponsored this year by the folks at MyBookie). No longer posting them to my Facebook page, they now have a permanent home here. Also, if there is ever anything I want to write that doesn't have a home on one of the other sites I work for, I will post it here.
There will be other additions too, including Aaron Torres Sports Podcast gear, which will be available in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, this is my homepage. This is who I am. This is what I've done. This is what I'm about.
Take a look around, learn more about me, and enjoy!
