Well folks, we made it: College football season has officially kicked off. And while, no one would exactly call Nebraska-Illinois a "signature" opening game, hey, at least it's football, right?
Don't answer that.
Anyway with the Cornhuskers kicking things off, it led the entire internet coming to the same realization at the same time: Adrian Martinez is still the quarterback at Nebraska.
And boy, oh boy did they have jokes.

With the NCAA giving everyone an extra year of eligibility, Martinez could actually return for another season next year.
