Credit: Alabama athletics

Hello, good morning and... WAKE UP! It's National Signing Day.

That's right, this is the day college football fans wait all year for, as the next wave of stars officially makes their college decisions - decisions that will impact the sport, conference titles and national championships for the next half decade.

Because this is a national holiday, we at Aaron Torres Media have you covered - as we'll have a live blog going all morning long, covering all the commitments, signings and decisions that are coming here all day long.

While you're monitoring your own team's action, make sure to bookmark this page and come back and check it out regularly for updates throughout the day.

Here are the biggest storylines coming into the day and below is your live blog:

6:30 p.m. ET (A NEW NO. 1): It's official, we have - at least for now - a new No. 1 recruiting class in the 247 Sports rankings as Texas A&M has leapfrogged Georgia and Alabama today into the No. 1 spot.

It was a wild day for Jimbo Fisher and crew, who picked up several marquee additional commitments, including Arizona defensive tackle Anthony Lucas, Philadelphia defensive lineman Enai White, offensive tackle Kam Dewberry and elite tight end Jake Johnson.

The crazy part is, the Aggies might not be done, as they lead for many of the top unsigned players in America.

6:27 p.m. ET (FLORIDA): Shemar James, a Top 100, four-star linebacker from Mobile, Alabama has committed to Florida. It's the second big pick-up of the day for new Florida head coach Billy Napier, who added safety Kamari Wilson earlier in the day.

James originally committed to the Gators early in the process, only to back off as Florida's season went sideways under Dan Mullen. Yet despite pursuit by Alabam and Georgia in recent weeks, Napier was able to convince James to become a Gator.

6:10 p.m. ET (KENTUCKY): More good news at Kentucky, where a little over an hour after receiving a commitment from five-star offensive lineman Kiyaunta Goodwin, the Wildcats have signed top junior college defensive back Zah Frazier.

Frazier is listed as a corner, but at 6'4 also played safety this season as well.

5:35 p.m. ET (TEXAS A&M): Yet more good news for Texas A&M, as four-star defensive end Enai White has officially signed with the Aggies. White, who is from Philadelphia had interest from virtually the entire SEC, with offers from Alabama, Auburn and others.

5:14 p.m. ET (TEXAS): Malik Agbo, a four-star offensive tackle from Washington state, has committed to play for Texas. Agbo chose the Longhorns over interest from Alabama, Miami and others.

5:08 p.m. ET (KENTUCKY): Five-star Kiyaunta Goodwin has finally made his college decision - picking Kentucky over Michigan State. It was a whirlwind day for Goodwin, who initially said this morning that he wouldn't announce today, then said he planned for 3:30 ET, before finally picking the Wildcats.

He's the final piece in a class that will finish right around the Top 10 nationally.

4:43 p.m. ET (ALABAMA): A second player from American Heritage has committed, as four-star defensive back Earl Little Jr. has committed to Alabama, picking the Tide over Miami and Florida State.

4:36 p.m. ET (GEORGIA): Marvin Jones Jr., a five-star defensive end from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale has committed to Georgia. He chose the Dawgs over Alabama and Florida State, where his father played in the late 1990's.

4:28 p.m. ET (ALABAMA): Alabama has made a late add to its 2022 recruiting class, as Jihaad Campbell a high four-star edge rusher has chosen the Crimson Tide. Campbell had previously been committed to Clemson but re-opened his commitment following the departure of Brent Venables, and has chosen the Tide over Texas A&M.

4:19 p.m. ET (TEXAS A&M): You can't make this stuff up, as Texas A&M has snagged another big-time player, with four-star offensive tackle Kam Dewberry picking the Aggies. Dewberry is ranked a Top 100 prospect in the 247 Sports Composite, and chose the Aggies over Oklahoma, Texas and a handful of other big-time schools.

4:09 p.m. ET (TEXAS A&M): As the Aggies continue to close on what might be the No. 1 class in America, the No. 1 player in high school football has officially inked with Texas A&M - as defensive lineman Walter Nolen has signed with the Aggies.

Nolen committed a little over a month ago on a visit to Texas A&M, but there was a belief that he wouldn't sign on Wednesday, with his home-state Tennessee Vols making a late push. However, Nolen is now officially an Aggie.

4:03 p.m. ET (FLORIDA): Kamari Wilson, a five-star safety who played this past season at IMG Academy who is originally from Fort Pierce, Florida has committed to... FLORIDA.

It is the first big commitment for new head coach Billy Napier, as Wilson took a visit to Gainesville this past weekend and is now a Gator. Wilson chose Florida over Georgia, Florida State, Texas A&M and several other big-time schools.

3:31 p.m. ET (TEXAS A&M): Texas A&M's historic day continues as four-star, Top 50 defensive lineman Anthony Lucas, announced that he will be an Aggie. A big, athletic defensive lineman, Lucas had offers from virtually every marquee school in the country and chose Texas A&M over Alabama, Notre Dame and a number of other premiere schools in college football.

3:17 p.m. ET (USC): Lincoln Riley got one of his first MAJOR commitments as head coach at USC, as Zion Branch, a four-star safety from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, choosing the Trojans over Oklahoma, Ohio State and several other schools.

The Top 50 recruit is the highest ranked recruit to commit to Riley's Trojans so far on Signing Day.

3:08 p.m. ET (ALABAMA): It was another big win for Nick Saban, as Alabama secured a commitment from four-star, Top 50 wide receiver Shazz Preston. Preston chose the Tide over several schools, including the local LSU Tigers.

3:00 p.m. ET (MICHIGAN): The big day for Jim Harbaugh continued, as Darrious Clemons, a four-star wide receiver from Oregon has committed to play for the Wolverines. Clemons, who is originally from Michigan, was a long-time Oregon lean, but when Mario Cristobal left for Miami, it opened the door for the Wolverines.

2:58 p.m. ET (ARIZONA): Arizona has picked up a commitment from four-star California cornerback Ephesians Prysock. Prysock was initially committed to USC, but re-opened his recruitment following the departure of Clay Helton. He had offers from Ohio State, USC, UCLA, Arizona State, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, and more before committing to the Wildcats.

2:56 p.m. ET (ALABAMA): It took a while, but Alabama officially received a letter of intent from its signal-caller of the future, as Ty Simpson has signed with the Tide. The long-time commit chose the Tide back in the spring over offers from Tennessee, Clemson and others.

2:40 p.m. ET (MIAMI): Mario Cristobal has one of his first major wins as a head coach, as four-star defensive lineman Nyjalik Kelly has chosen Miami over Oregon, Florida, Florida State and others. Kelly had been deemed an Oregon lean for a time, so Cristobal's move to the ACC only helped in securing this commitment.

2:25 p.m. ET (TRANSFER UPDATE): We have a transfer update, as in the midst of a post-signing day press conference, Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker announced that Florida transfer Khris Bogle has joined the program.

Bogle is a former Top 100 recruit, who tallied 69 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, 2 pass breakups and a forced fumble in three seasons with the Gators.

He is one of several marquee transfers to join the Spartans on Wednesday, including running back Jalen Berger (formerly of Wisconsin), linebacker Aaron Brule (Mississippi State) and more.

1:30 p.m. ET (INDIANA): In a surprise announcement, four-star defensive tackle Nick James has committed to Indiana. The IMG Academy star had offers from virtually everyone in college football including Alabama.

1:25 p.m. ET (ARKANSAS): Arkansas has officially announced a 22-man recruiting class, which is the highest ranked class in school history in the Rivals database, and highest since 2004 according to 247 Sports. It also includes Oklahoma transfer Jadon Haselwood, the highest-ranked recruit to ever commit to the school. Haselwood was once the No. 1 high school receiver in the class of 2019.

1:23 p.m. ET (MIAMI): We officially have the first new commit of the Mario Cristobal era, as Jaden Harris, a three-star cornerback from Georgia has signed with Miami. He chose the Canes over several schools including Georgia Tech, which was the perceived leader coming into the day.

1:22 p.m. ET (FLORIDA STATE): After the devastating Travis Hunter news, Florida State got some good news, as four-star safety Azareyeh Thomas has committed to the Seminoles. He chose Florida State over offers from LSU, Georgia Tech, Florida and others.

1:20 p.m. ET (Kiyaunta Goodwin UPDATE PART II): The wild recruitment of Kiyaunta Goodwin has taken another twist as he appears as though he is not yet ready to commit at 3:30 p.m. ET as planned. Goodwin initially announced this morning he wouldn't sign today, then said he would commit at 3:30, and now it's back off. He's down to Michigan State and Kentucky, and has now tweeted that he will commit at 5 p.m. ET.

1:10 p.m. ET (UPDATE): More Oregon news, as Tetairoa McMillan, one of the top high school wide receivers announced that he will not sign today. The Top 50 player nationally is committed to the Ducks, but it appears as though he is considering a flip, with Arizona the likely team that could pry him away from Eugene, per 247 Sports' Greg Biggins.

1:07 p.m. ET (OREGON): Michael Wooten, a three-star offensive lineman from California became the fourth player to sign with Oregon on Wednesday. The Ducks are expected to sign just a handful of players today as they transition into the Dan Lanning era in Eugene.

1:05 p.m. ET (COMMIT): Khurtiss Perry, a four-star defensive lineman has committed to... ALABAMA. He chose the Crimson Tide over offers from Auburn, Clemson and a handful of other suitors.

11:35 a.m. ET (JACKSON STATE): Pete Thamel is now reporting that Travis Hunter, the No. 1 high school player in America, has flipped from a long-time Florida State commitment and will head to Jackson State. This is unquestionably the biggest story of this 2022 recruiting cycle, and arguably one of the biggest in recent memory.

11:25 a.m. ET (FLIP): Safe to say it's been a busy day at Auburn, where just minutes after flipping Robert Woodyard from Alabama, they LOST a player via flip - as four-star athlete Ja'Kobi Albert has decommitted and signed with Kentucky.

11:15 a.m. (FLIP): We have a major in-state flip, as four-star linebacker Robert Woodyard has flipped from Alabama to Auburn. The Mobile native had been committed to the Crimson Tide for over a year, but pulled a last-second switch and is headed to Auburn.

11:09 a.m. ET (COMMIT): Keionte Scott, the No. 1 junior college cornerback in America has officially committed to... AUBURN. Scott chose the Tigers over Tennessee, Miami, BYU and others.

10:59 E.T. (UPDATE): In a staggering piece of news, five-star cornerback Travis Hunter - widely regarded as the top player in America - is expected to decommit, with the likely landing spot... Deion Sanders' Jackson State Tigers. That news is per 247 Sports' Steve Wiltfong. This would be an unprecedented turn of events, for the No. 1 player in America to sign with an FCS program and HBCU.

10:40 a.m. ET (ALABAMA): Another NLI is in at Alabama, where four-star athlete Amari Niblack has signed with the Tide.

10:36 a.m. ET (TEXAS): Steve Sarkisian got another big win on Wednesday morning, when four-star offensive lineman Neto Umeozulu officially signed with the Longhorns. Umeozulu committed earlier in the week, but put pen to paper early Wednesday morning. He'd previously been seen as a USC lean.

10:35 a.m. ET (COMMIT): Deone Walker, a massive, four-star defensive lineman from Michigan has committed to Kentucky. This is a major commitment for Mark Stoops and his crew, as Walker chose the Wildcats over the home-state Michigan Wolverines.

10:01 a.m. ET (FLIP!!!!!): We have a major flip, as four-star safety and Top 100 player Terrance Brooks has decided to flip from Ohio State to Texas. This is a mega win for Steve Sarkisian,
