Monday Super Wild Card Weekend preview: Picks and predictions on Steelers-Bills and Eagles-Bucs

The NFL playoffs are finally upon us. We only have a handful of games in the NFL season left, and there's no time to waste.

Still, though - we're hot, finishing the regular season 10-6 in our final few weeks, and 2-1 so far in these playoffs.

After making picks for Saturday and Sunday's games, it's now time to look ahead at our first ever Monday, Wild Card weekend doubleheader.

Now, to the picks:

Pittsburgh at Buffalo

Spread: Buffalo -10

Total: 38.5

The story of the game is obviously the weather, where a winter storm pushed this game to Monday afternoon. It also brought out the best of the people in Buffalo, many of whom spent part of their Sunday and Monday shoveling the stadium for this game.

It was awesome to see all the pictures and videos emerge over the last few days from Orchard Park.

In terms of this game, I like Buffalo here, but I’m not going to recommend taking a double-digit favorite when the total is 38.5. We will take Buffalo in the first half -6.5.

Pittsburgh is the fraudulent team in the postseason. Mike Tomlin’s run at keeping this team competitive year in and year out is remarkable, but the fact is, this team does not have the talent to keep up with the premier teams in the NFL. TJ Watt is not going to be available for this game.

Buffalo wins in a rout, add the Bills to every ML parlay they are not going to lose.

The pick: Bills ML on parlays/Buffalo (-6.5 - 1H)

Philadelphia at Tampa Bay

Spread: Philadelphia (-3)

Total: 43.5

I was one of the first NFL blog writers that foreshadowed the Eagle’s demise. But even with that said, I did not expect them to end the season losing to Arizona at home and then getting blown out against New York to end the season.

The playoffs should welcome a new fresh start, but I've got to say, the trains are off the tracks with this team and it’s impossible to get them back on. AJ Brown won’t be available and Jalen Hurts has a dislocated finger on this throwing hand. Tampa ranks fourth in EPA against the run.

Todd Bowles has seen this Philly offense multiple times. Tampa defense and offense have playoff veterans, they will know how to prepare.

If Baker is semi-decent, I think the Bucs win this game outright. If Mayfield is on, the Buccaneers will blow them out of the water.

Give me Tampa Bay, big.

The pick: Tampa Bay (+3)
