Monday Night Gambling Preview: Will Buffalo stay hot against a desperate Tennessee team?

Can Josh Allen and arguably the league's best defense go to Tennessee and beat them tonight? Probably, but the most important question we should be asking ourselves is can they cover the spread? Buffalo is inevitably due to have a trap game, but will it happen tonight? Read below and find out!

Week 6 Monday Night Football, with odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook:

Buffalo at Tennessee

Line: Buffalo (-6)

O/U: 53.5

Gut Feeling: Buffalo has arguably looked like the most dominant team in pro football this year this year. Their roster is stacked from any which way you look at it as they have a great head coach in Sean McDermott, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, MVP-caliber QB Josh Allen and a star studded defense headlined by their lockdown secondary -- including cornerback Tre'Davious White and safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. Having said all that, they are going to have their work cut out from them against a high powered Tennessee offense led by Derrick Henry, A.J Brown, and Julio Jones. In addition, I think their offense is finally turning the corner and getting over the loss of former OC Arthur Smith.

This game reminds me of the Joker's famous line from the Dark Knight, "This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object".

By the Numbers:

--> Buffalo has won four straight games by a combined score of 156-41

--> Mike Vrabel is 13-5 ATS as home underdogs of 3+ points

--> Buffalo is 4-1 ATS this season, Tennessee is 3-2 ATS

Final Thoughts: I hate picking against teams as good as Buffalo, but sometimes the number is just too high. When you parlay the six points Tennessee is getting with the fact that Buffalo is coming off an emotionally exhausting win in Kansas City and they now have to go back on the road to Nashville leads me to believe they will come out flat in this game. Tennessee is finally healthy, and they have had Josh Allen and company's number in the past (beating them 42-16 last year).

Derrick Henry has shown no sign of slowing down, and if Tennessee can control the time of possession, I think they stay close and cover. I hate betting against top tier teams, but someone has to do it.

Official pick: Tennessee +6
