Week 5 is already here in the NFL and it’s time to look at the early lines for the most notable games this week.
New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers (-8): This is another London game that will start the day. The intrigue here is if the Giants will be able to field a quarterback because both their starter and backup got injured this past week. The Packers have found a rhythm, and the defense and the running game seem to be the key.
Philadelphia Eagles (-5) at Arizona Cardinals: The Eagles are the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL, and they put that record to the test in Arizona this week. The Eagles have been rolling, mainly by relying on their ground game on offense. The Cardinals seem like they may have found their groove too, so this will be an interesting matchup.
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams (-4.5): This will be the biggest test that Cooper Rush has faced yet. The Cowboys have steadied the ship, so far, but this is a different test. The reigning Super Bowl Champs have been a little inconsistent, but they seem like they are on the right track now. This will be one of the better games to watch this weekend.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Cleveland Browns: The Chargers might get a fully healed Justin Herbert, so that immediately makes them must watch here. The Browns have been up and down but have a decent chance for an upset still with how good their ground game is with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-3): This should be the best game of the weekend. Baltimore’s defense has not been good, but Lamar Jackson is doing it all for them on offense. The Bengals started slow but seem like the Super Bowl hangover might be over. Expect a high-scoring game in Baltimore.
Rest of the slate:
Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos (-3.5) (Thursday Night)
Buffalo Bills (-14) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-7)
Detroit Lions at New England Patriots (-3)
Seattle Seahawks at New Orleans Saints (-5.5)
Miami Dolphins (-3) at New England Patriots
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8)
Tennessee Titans (-2.5) at Washington Commanders
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars (-7)
San Francisco 49ers (-5) at Carolina Panthers
Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (-7)
