Here are all the ways college football fans and schools honored America on the 9-11 anniversary

It's the anniversary of 9-11, a tragic day, 20 years ago, that showed the human spirit and resiliency that make America the greatest country in the world.

And around the sports world, tributes are rolling in, from simple tweets and Instagram posts, to schools like UAB actually wearing USA themed helmets for today's game.

All day long, we'll keep a running list of all the things that college football fans and programs have done to honor our country, and those who were lost, on this page.

The first sign came even before kick-off, when outside of the Horse shoe, both Ohio State and Oregon fans broke out in "U-S-A" chants in the open of "Big Noon Kick-Off."

Not surprisingly, Army added its own touch, with every single player running onto the field with an American flag.

We'll keep this updated all day long.

Enjoy the games today!
