Arch Manning is taking another marquee recruiting visit this weekend

We mentioned it a few weeks ago, and we'll say it again: When it's all said and done, there's a real possibility we never see another recruitment quite like Arch Manning's.

Quarterback is already the most important position in all of sports, making those recruitments plenty high-profile. So you're already talking about a kid in Manning who is the No. 1 signal-caller in the class of 2023, with offers from just about everyone in college football that matters. Then you add in the fact that he is Archie's grandson and Eli and Peyton's nephew, and well, again, we'll probably never see anything quite like this again.

Which is why Arch Manning's recruitment is covered with baited breath - a recruitment by the way, that will roll on this Saturday, as he gets set to visit the biggest game of the college football Saturday.

That's right, Arch will be in Tuscaloosa, to take in Bama-Ole Miss.

Here is what he told 247 Sports' Steve Wilfong a few weeks ago about Bama, during a long, wide-ranging interview.

“It’s just a machine,” Manning said. “Saban he runs a great program and there’s really no loopholes in that, no cutting corners which was amazing.
“I went to go see Bryce (Young) in a player run practice and it was cool because there was no coaches on the field and how organized and tight it was with just the players. They get after it and it’s organized and it was cool to watch.
“I’d love to be in a program like that, that organized with Coach Saban, that would be a dream come true.”

That's music to any Bama's fans ears, but obviously - no matter what happens Saturday - Bama will have to beat off a long list of suitors to secure Arch's commitment. That includes the guy they'll face Saturday, Lane Kiffin (who appeared to open up an Instagram account) just to follow Arch, as well as Clemson, Texas and others.

Arch visited Georgia two weeks ago in addition to Alabama this week, and here is a list of the other schools he's expected to visit to this fall.

October 16th: Visit to Texas (Oklahoma State at Texas)

October 23rd: Visit to Ole Miss (LSU at Ole Miss)

October 30th: *Tentative visit to Clemson (Florida State at Clemson)

It appears as though we're a long way from any type of resolution in the "Who will end up with Arch Manning" recruitment.

But any time there's an update, you know we'll have you covered.

In the mean time, enjoy highlights from the early portion of Arch's junior season.
