The Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers late Saturday night, sending Atlanta to its first World Series in over 20 years. And with the Houston Astros clinching their spot in the Fall Classic on Friday night, it means the World Series is officially set.
And with it, we have our first look at the official World Series odds.

Admittedly, those odds aren't very surprising. As great as Atlanta's run has been both in the second half of the year, and through a magical October, Houston has quite a few advantages coming in.
Dusty Baker's club was the better team in the regular season, winning the AL West with 95 wins, with an offense that led the MLB in several categories including batting average and total hits. They will have homefield advantage in the World Series, which begins Tuesday night. Oh, and they have the experience, with the majority of their core from 2017 and 2019 World Series runs still with them, including Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman all headed to their third World Series. ALCS MVP Yordan Alvarez was also part of the 2019 World Series squad.
Still, the Braves are a live dog, as they enter their first World Series since 1999. Atlanta has essentially played one bad game in the last two weeks, winning three straight game in the NLDS, before taking a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. Were it not for a wild rally in Game 3, Atlanta might have swept the Dodgers.
Game 1 of the World Series is on Tuesday, in Houston.
